Bad Bloggers! Being Good Edition.

YEP! That's right! I only brought three books into the house this week! And on top of that, I only paid for one and can only personally take the blame for one :D How's that for discipline :p Here's what came in:

1. The Alchemyst by Michael Scott - This is the first book in Scott's Nicholas Flamel series that I've been wanting to read for awhile ever since Pat (Deslily) fell in love with them! And if I recall, the whole series is out now! Which means no waiting for the next book :p Point for Pat! (PaperbackSwap)

2. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan - The other night I had a sudden urge to read these books for some reason! I've actually been really wanting to get to these for awhile ever since Gray, Debi's son, told me how much he loves them! So I went over to PaperbackSwap and they had this one up for grabs! I grabbed it :) Point for Gray! (PaperbackSwap)

3. Earth Unaware by Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston - I had this one preordered and I'm pretty darn excited about it!!! It's the first in a planned trilogy to Ender's Game about the first Formic Wars. Yes....an exciting read to be sure! (Bought it)

What goodies walked into your house this week?

I don't think I've ever seen you make such a short bad bloggers post! I'm still behind on reading Scott Card, by the way.

Omg! I really hope you enjoy the Flamel series as much as I did!! A lot of historical characters and Myths etc.

3 books?!! I wouldn't go much lower than that, hon, or you might start feeling withdrawal symptoms. :P

So have you started The Lightning Thief? I thoroughly enjoyed it (and have Gray to thank for reading it as well), but I've never gotten around to reading the rest. If I were going to have a tombstone, which I'm not, it could say, "She never finished a series."

Okay Debra Anne, it's time to shut up now.

Did you cut this post short Chris? ;) Surely there are some books missing! ;-P

Yay for only three books coming in! I've only had a few e-galleys come in this past week plus The Best American Comics 2011. Happy reading.

I really loved The Alchemyst and must get on with the next book. Just one word of warning: these are for middle readers or young YA readers. Some people criticized the series for not being sophisticated enough. That didn't bother me one little bit. The audio was great and I'm going that route for the other books.
