In fact I just had one of those! Well, not the crisp weather, and I ended the day by having to fly back to New York (boo). But there was outside time, and the weather wasn't bad, and there was gumbo and Saints game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-49623953593289772122013-10-08T06:54:46.874-05:002013-10-08T06:54:46.874-05:00Ooooh, I like the sound of your fall day. But then they made me a pumpkin spice chai tea latte--OMG, now that I LOVED! Oh man, and the smell of that cinnamon tea--I am so with you on that! I swear I could just sit there with my nose stuck in a tin of that all day long! :P Totally with you on the football too! We've been without TV for a while now, but the start of football season has been the first I've really missed it. :( Okay, I should probably shut up now, instead of filling up your comment box with more of my rambling. :)Debihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13999759633682551104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-32456500707440640672013-10-07T05:34:16.474-05:002013-10-07T05:34:16.474-05:00I've been loving this survey! I don't watch a lot of sports on TV, but we love the baseball play-off and then the SeriesBeth Fhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08627666337961326265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-81814453010616108192013-10-06T19:50:03.948-05:002013-10-06T19:50:03.948-05:00I remember the year I went to Spain in October, I ...I remember the year I went to Spain in October, I didn't even realize that I would be missing fall until I got home and all the leaves were already off the trees and the air was cold, not cool. And I was heartbroken! Where I lived in Spain was very arid and there were lime trees and I was going to the beach probably through the end of the third week of October, which was nice in its own way, but it wasn't fall. I hope you get to come visit the east coast and see a fall!! :)

I also love the pumpkin spice lattes and Halloween and PECAN PIE. All I have wanted is pecan pie. ALL I WANT. Talk about a craving. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
...Waiting for fall. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

In the meantime . . . my favorite fall *ever* was the one we spent in Michigan, where school kids take field trips to the apple farm for apple cider, fresh doughnuts and the chance to pick out a pumpkin directly from the field. Best experience, ever. That's my ideal and I would happily move back to Michigan, if only for the annual trip to the apple farm.

I think Kiddo is going to the Renaissance Festival with his girlfriend. They went early in their dating life (2 or 3 years ago) and it's his favorite memory from their time as a couple so she wants to go for a repeat. Maybe I should go in 2014 and we could meet up there? That would be a fun way to place to hang out together. I recall with longing their Mocha Valencia's, though, which were chocolate and orange. Those should be on the list forever! My first husband loved pecan pie, and I would make him chocolate pecan pie this time of year. Such memories of our lives, it's good to pull out our joys and relish them. xoBellezza https://www.blogger.com/profile/18073864187188953633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-37227339369004099492013-10-05T05:39:28.582-05:002013-10-05T05:39:28.582-05:00I love your Ideal Fall Day! (but to be honest I'd rather go in spring when it's all green lol).. but I do really miss walking in fallen leaves and hearing them crunch! and I have to be dressed in jeans and a SWEATSHIRT! (something I rarely get to wear) DesLilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02582481597658080464noreply@blogger.com
