Will be interesting to see what everyone reading A Game of Thrones makes of it.

Lovely that you're reading The Last Unicorn, it is a truly wonderful story.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-18255422843177338692007-03-27T16:28:00.000-05:002007-03-27T16:28:00.000-05:00Hey Stephanie, thank you for stopping by as well. ...Hey Stephanie, thank you for stopping by as well. Oh, there's so many great books out there. Anything by Orson Scott Card is wonderful. His sci-fi isn't your typical sci-fi, he puts so much emotion and humanness into his characters. I recommend starting with Enders Game, or if you like fantasy, Enchantment or Magic Street.

Anything by Gaiman is great.

Charles DeLint is a really great author, I love Greenmantle. Great book.chrisa511https://www.blogger.com/profile/05793512698366676453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-76761799401386680332007-03-27T16:19:00.000-05:002007-03-27T16:19:00.000-05:00Thanks for stopping by Chris! I'm pretty much new to the sci-fi/fantasy genres. I was thinking of starting the challenge with it, and now that I know Clarke references it in one of her stories, it's a definite go! I've been interested in Gaiman for some time--I used to work in an independent bookstore in CA and his events were always among the largest! The Last Unicorn is one I've been wanting to read for awhile and it just always got pushed back, so here's my chance to read it :)

Carl, thanks for hosting this challenge! It's one of the best I've seen in awhile. Love the image you picked for it as well.chrisa511https://www.blogger.com/profile/05793512698366676453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315611891697079859.post-47206649239425322772007-03-26T18:07:00.000-05:002007-03-26T18:07:00.000-05:00Fantastic list of books, very nicely done.
